Why doesn't my emails render the same for all my clients?
Feb 15, 2011
Sending out emails to clients is an excellent form of marketing. It is cheap, effective, and if done right, a real money maker.
Unfortunately all email viewers are not created equal. The same email will not render the same in all of your client's different email systems.
The chart to to the right shows a graph of features supported down the left and email client down the right. The whole chart should be green. Click here for a larger version.
Because of this Primo advises to keep your email templates simple (use old school tables and no more that 2 columns). We provide a template as part of our Email Marketing Package, contact us for more details.

What Browser should I use?
Jan 22, 2011
Here is a simple guide to choosing a good, standards compliant, fast browser:
If you are using a PC:
If you already use Firefox, keep it - you have made a good choice. If not, install Google Chrome.
If you are using a Apple Mac:
Use Safari. This will already be installed in most cases.
Primo does not recommend any of the Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers as they do not follow the web standards like Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.
There is another browser call Opera that is very popular in Europe. It is also a good choice.
The Primo developers develop mainly in Google Chrome, but we have the other browsers installed to make sure websites render well in all browsers.

Google does not use the keywords meta tag in web ranking
September 21, 2009
Yes it's true! Google does not use the main type of keyword that SEO experts say you should insert in your page. The full article from Google.
However, Google does identify keywords in the content of your webpage. So once again the catch cry of "Lots of Relevant Content to get Google Ranking" is correct.
Meta Keywords may be used by other search engines, so Primo recommends that you place them in your pages but spend more time of developing content than worrying about your meta keywords.
